Hello LFA Families,

We hope you are all doing well. It has been a while since we have connected so we thought it was time for an update. Our board has been hard at work behind the scenes working on next season already and are hoping to have more to share in the next few weeks.

A couple of notes right now:

2020 Credits – if you have credits carried over from the 2020 suspended Spring season or the Summer season, you will be receiving an email with your unique credit code soon. You will use this code when you register for the 2021 season, using our new registration system, TeamSnap.

Registration – We are pleased to announce that we were able to keep our fees the same for the coming season. It was important to us that our families are taken care of and do not need to feel any extra stress about the cost of their children playing ball. We were able to do this, in part, due to those families that allowed us to carry over their 2020 registration fees into 2021, so thank you!

Clinics – We know many of you are wondering about clinics. In a normal year, we would have already started and have our players in gyms and the cage. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing pandemic we have been unable to rent school gyms and even get into our batting cage. We are constantly working on gaining access and as soon as we have something we will definitely get that info out to our members.

Mite Selects – we will still be moving ahead with our Mite Select try-out process so for those of you with children born in 2011 or 2012 please watch your emails for more info.

Open Board Positions – We still have a few open board positions that we would love to get filled before we really get going on our planning for the 2021 season. If you are interested in getting involved please let us know. Our open positions are listed on our website: https://langleyfastball.ca/board-of-directors/ . If you want to get involved but don’t see an open position please get in touch. We will always welcome the help and love having fresh ideas incorporated into our board.
