2021 Mite Select Warm-Up Clinics & Try-Outs

Mite Select Warm-Up Clinics

LFA now has our Mite Select Warm Up Clinics available for registration!  These clinics are for softball players who are born 2011 & 2012.

Mite Select Try-Outs

These tryouts are open to all players born in either 2012 or 2011 that are looking for a challenge this upcoming season.  The tryouts will be run by the Mite Select Coach Travis Mackenzie and by LFA’s President Jeff Clegg.

The Mite Select team is a great experience for your daughter to be exposed to more competitive play, team bonding, softball IQ, and of course fun!  This team is also a great step towards LFA's rep system which begins at the U13 level.

The team will have weekly practices over the winter, as well as hitting and pitching sessions until the start of the season in the spring.  Games will be played around the Lower Mainland most likely on Mondays and Wednesdays from April to June (confirmation on days of the week to come as we get closer to the season).  As well, the team is expecting to enter a few tournaments throughout the season.

The tryout dates will be:

Saturday, October 23rd 4:30-6pm Thunderbird Show Park

Sunday, October 24th 2pm-4pm Noel Booth Diamonds or alternate indoor location

What to Bring:

Make sure you come ready to play with proper clothing/layers as you will be practicing in an indoor riding facility on Oct 23rd and Oct 24th will be at Noel Booth or an alternate indoor facility.  Cleats if you have them (recommended) or running shoes and a water bottle with your name clearly labelled. You will be asked to perform all of the skills commonly used in a real game.

Also, please feel free to bring any additional equipment you may require – for example an infielders mask, batting gloves, bat, helmet, sliders.

If the clinic you would like to register your child in is full, please add their name to our Wait List.

We will be doing our very best to make sure that every spot is filled each week.

Thank you to our sponsors!
