LFA is happy to announce that we are running General Skills clinic for 7 sessions.

The sessions will be at Thunderbird Show Park, starting Jan 17th

U8 – U10 – 12pm – 1pm

U12 – U19 – 1:30pm-2:30pm

Jan 17, 24, 31, Feb 7, (No Feb 14), 21, 28, and Mar 7

There are only 16 spots in each group so register asap for this free clinic!  This clinic is also only available to p

layers who have registered for the 2021 season or are brand new players that want to learn about softball before they register for the season.

To register head over to our Clinics Page.

If you register and do not register for the season we may need to remove your clinic registration as we anticipate a wait list.

Your child will need to bring her glove, helmet, cleats, face mask, infielder mask, bat, and batting gloves.  Please also bring a water bottle clearly labelled with your daughter’s name – and dress warmly in layers.  This is an indoor coverall but it is not insulated.

Parents will not be able to stay in the coverall due to current COVID guidelines but you can stay in the parking lot during the session.  We may also need a parent volunteer or two to take attendance/social distance monitor and be present for first aid if necessary.  Once you have registered and you would like to volunteer so that you can stay please let me know.  I will rotate the volunteers so that more parents have a chance to stay and watch.  There is no seating in the cover all, if you do volunteer you will need to bring a lawn chair, and dress warmly/in layers.

What to Bring to your clinic session.

Make sure you come ready to play with proper clothing/layers as will be practicing in an indoor riding facility, cleats if you have them (recommended) or running shoes and a water bottle with your name clearly labelled. You will be asked to perform all of the skills commonly used in a real game.

Also, please feel free to bring any additional equipment you may require – for example an infielders mask, batting gloves, bat, helmet, sliders.
